My journey didn't begin in a boardroom. It began in the neighborhoods where opportunities weren't always easy to find and where the choices you make can shape the direction of your entire life. Growing up in the hood, I saw firsthand the challenges that many people face every day. While it would have been easy to follow the crowd, I chose a different path. I focused on education, personal growth, and building a future that was bigger than my circumstances. Those experiences taught me an important lesson: your environment may influence you, but your mindset determines your destination. For more than 40 years, I've dedicated myself to creative work, building experience in embroidery, photography, fashion, and design. I created Mindset Material as a movement designed to inspire people to think differently about themselves, their future, and their potential. Every design represents perseverance, resilience, ambition, and the belief that success starts in the mind.
